The Mondragó Natural Park, with more than 700 hectares, is located to the south of the island of Mallorca. It was declared a natural park in 1992. It is also a Natural Area of Special Interest (ANEI in Spanish) and forms part of the Natura 2000 Network as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA) and Site of Community Importance (SCI).
